I am an artist, designer, and art educator, and have worked in fine arts, craft, and architecture. As an artist, my work has been predominantly in the media of drawing and printmaking, where I have had a long-term interest in landforms. The places I depict sometimes are enhanced with figurative narratives, depicting events such as in my “Tug of War” and “Freeze Tag series of prints. I have more recently been exploring both the functional and sculptural aspects of ceramics. In my previous career as a designer and drafter, I have worked with the built environment, mainly as an interior designer and space planner for commercial projects, and as a drafter for landscape architecture and land use planning.
